This is the BIGGEST TBR I have had in 2 years... 10 books is the goal I have 12 to choose from.
In no particular order here are the books I can’t wait to read this month!

Blood of Hercules
This is our Fable Book Club pick of the month.
New adult romantasy novel.
I am going into this book completely blind! I know that it has spice is recommended for readers 17+.
If you would like to read it with us… please join in. Each month we choose a book to read together in our book club.

Fearless - Powerless Book 3
OMG... I am so excited for this book! This is the third and final book in the series. I don't want it to be over and at the same time I need to know what happens next.
This is YA Romantasy. If you enjoyed Red Queen, Caraval, or Throne of Glass you will love this series.
This series has something for everyone. Political intrigue. A great book boyfriend! Magic competition! Imagine being tossed in the hunger games - with people who have magic powers - and you don't have any!

Enchantra - Book 2 Phantasma
Comes out on the same day as Fearless... what am I going to do?!
This series is very similar to Caraval... to the point I would argue it is based off of Caraval. That said... it is a more grown up verision and it has spice! The challenges have higher stakes and consequences.
The Mystery aspect is awesome! Did I mention it has a ghost cat! The magic system is very unique. Highly recommend for ages 17+.

Legendary - Carval Book 2
Caraval was a 5 Star read... I am absolutely continuing on with the series. In fact this is a series spot - which means I can binge the rest of the series the month if I choose to.
Binging a completed series is something I highly recommend. You get to be fully emersed in the world and with the characters. Very enjoyable way to read!
Caraval was our book club book for March. We have several people in our community buddy reading Legendary. If you are looking for a buddy - join our lives on BookTok.

The Boyfriend
I'm back to reading thrillers - (occasionally).
Slowing getting back into this genre and loving it! I'm really hoping I like this one and that it isn't predictable.
This is an online date gone awry? I really want to go in blind - so I'm not reading the back cover or the Goodreads profile (sorry.)
Going into thrillers with little to no information is always the way to go in my opinion. Even the author will spoil things on the back covers sometimes and wreck their own books. So I'm very cautious.

The Words
New Adult Rock Star Dark Romance... say less. This book came highly recommended to me from my friend Bre.
From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ashley Jade comes an edgy, enemies-to-lovers standalone romance about mistakes, forgiveness, and second chances.
I'm excited to check this one out! Has a 4.31 rating on GoodReads which is very high!
Dark Romance - Recommended 17+.

Finlay Donovan is Killing It
Finally!!
It's almost embarassing how long this book has sat on my GoodReads TBR. Just looked it up - April of 2022 is when I added it. Haven't read a page :(
The whole concept of this book sounds incredible. It is about an author who is out for lunch with her publisher and a random girl over hears their conversation - and thinks the book they are discussing is reality. Is now under the impression she is a killer for hire - and hires her to kill someone!
Sounds so funny and awesome and like everything I would love in a book.

Magnolia Parks the Long Way Home - Book 3
If you are a fan of gossip girl.... how have you not yet read Magnolia Parks. Stop everything you are doing and pick that book up now. Right now!
You can hear Blair's voice in your head while you are reading it. It's amazing! Don't worry Chuck, Little J, and Nate are there too!!
This is the third book in the series and I can't wait to see what happens to Magnolia. This is also a series spot - so I can binge the rest of the series if I want to.
Genre: New Adult Romance.

The Bane Witch
Practical Magic and Gone Girl mushed together in one book. This book came out in March and was instantly added to my TBR! I was lucky enough to get a copy at my local library.
During preview night - I read the first chapter and it gave major Belladonna vibes which made me want to read it even more!
This will absolutely be a read for this month.

Fifty Shades of Grey Re-read
It's been 3 years since I have done a re-read of Fifty Shades of Grey. In my world that's FOREVER!
I am a very character driven reader. I miss the characters and have to go back. One thing to know about me - I am obsessed with flawed characters. I'm the girl who thinks Jack Barlowe needs a hug. (IYKYK)
This is Twilight Fan fiction. All my favorite characters are here but somehow better. When I read these - I don't picture the movie cast, I see the full cast of Twilight.
The movies literally cut not only my top 2 favorite scenes - but also my favorite side character! So no... you can't watch the movies and say it counts.

God of Ruin - Book 4 Legacy of Gods
Rina Kent is quickly becoming a new favorite author for me. This series is so good and I can't wait to go back and read more from her back catalog.
The first book in this series is God of Malice. That was a 4 star read for me... but the second book, God of Pain, was a 6 star read! Will absolutely be re-reading this series.
Rina Kent reminds me of Elle Kennedy but darker... The format, character development, humor, and setting is very similar to Elle Kennedy but instead of being sweet and adorable - it's dark romance. Not too dark though!
These books are hinged in the best way - and not scary like other dark romance books.

Crescent City
Gage (my husband) finally finished Throne of Glass and now we can start Crescent City!!! Ahhh..... jumping up and down and dancing in joy!
Once I read Crescent City I will officially be caught up on SJM... and then ready to begin my Brandon Sanderson journey.
I know... you're thinking, "How is she going to read all of these books and start Crescent City".
The short answer - I don't know... but we have a lot of reading sprints on the books for April! And I'm determined.
Genre: Epic Modern Fantasy
Happy Reading!
