We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark

My book club book of the month. A slow-burn Romantasy set in a Roman-inspired world ruled by merciless vampires. Filled with breathtaking combat, vengeful gods, and magical creatures, We Who Will Die is the epic first installment in an enthralling new series perfect for fans of Carissa Broadbent, Jasmine Mas, and Rebecca Yarros.

I am so excited to start my year with a vampire book. This was also a Book of the Month selection, and it has really good reviews from ARC readers.

Snake-Eater by T. Kingfisher

I have been wanting to read more from this author. Snake-eater is about a girl that is super poor and down on her luck. With her last $20 she boards a bus to visit a distant family member she has never met. When she gets into town... she discovers that family member has died and she decides to move into the house.... a house that is probably haunted.

Weird town characters and spooky vibe.

Also a book club book in our community. This is a new book on my radar and after previewing it, I knew it had to be on my TBR.

Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter

I really like Lynn Painter and this book sounded so funny I knew it had to make the list. Give me all the text message banter please!

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

This is not a drill I am finally going to be reading Crescent City. Considering what a huge fan I am of SJM you maybe surprised to learn I have not read this one yet.

As a girl who spent over half of her life on SJM cliffhangers... is it really that shocking that I didn't start the new series?

Crescent city is an urban fantasy and I know it nods to Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses - specifically Silver Flames. Cannot wait to read this series as group with all of you in book club. Perfect way to kick off the new year.

The Deal by Elle Kennedy

This is a re-read for me. I have already all of Elle Kennedy... but when I saw it was going to be a buddy this month I couldn't refuse.

Off Campus is going to be coming to our screens in 2026 and I have not been this excited for an adaptation in... ever. Elle Kennedy does humor and romance in a way that no one else does.

Garret Graham needs a tutor so that he can continue to play hockey and Hannah needs help getting back in the dating scene so they strike up a deal.

In Your Dreams by Sarah Adams

This is the fourth book in series and I am so excited to read it! I'm not usually a small town reader but if Sarah Adams writes it... I'm going to read it. I absolutely love this author and can't wait to read it

This book was recommended to me as a Boys of Tommen on Ice. Larry Reads has listed this in many of recommendations.. so I have to give it a go.
